Euro 2024 Group Winners Accumulator Tip
Germany are the big favourites to win Group A but underdogs Switzerland could be the way to go here. Germany have been out of sorts for a while and look vulnerable, and this efficient Swiss outfit may be the team who can take advantage.
Spain, Italy and Croatia have been lumped together, alongside Albania, in Group B. Spain are the clear favourites but it is worth remembering they finished behind Japan in the 2022 World Cup groups. Italy are the defending champions, but Croatia continue to surprise at major tournaments and as the outsiders of this big trio they look very backable here.
The Three Lions have what looks a fairly comfortable first round draw, expect them to top the Group C pile before harder tests further down the line.
The Netherlands look the biggest threat to French dominance in Group D, which will be completed by a play-off winner. France have topped their groups in every tournament since finishing second to England at Euro 2012, so back them to come out on top again.
Romania, Slovakia and a play-off winner join Belgium in Group E, and the Red Devils should be able to progress as group winners with relative ease here.
Portugal are the favourites in Group F ahead of Turkey, Czech Republic and the final play-off winner. The Turks beat Germany in a friendly this year and finished above Croatia in qualifying, so take a chance on them finishing above Portugal.
Early Kick Offs Treble Tip
Leeds have added 16 points from their last six matches and can maintain their relentless progress by defeating Blackburn at Ewood Park. Daniel Farke’s side have come from behind to win their last two games and they look too strong for Rovers, who have lost five of nine home league fixtures.
Liverpool are unbeaten in five across all competitions and have won their last three. The goals have not been flying in for Crystal Palace recently and Liverpool have conceded only 14 times in 15 league games, so should keep things tight.
West Brom find themselves fifth in the Championship, five points above Sunderland, having won five of their last seven league matches. The Baggies can capitalise on the hosts’ drop in form with victory at the Stadium of Light.
Super Mega Accumulator Tip
Blackpool lost 2-1 at home to Northampton in their last league game, but they won their previous two matches by a 4-0 scoreline and should register a win and a shutout against Carlisle at Bloomfield Road. A tough survival battle awaits Carlisle, who have lost five of their last seven league matches.
Brighton have posted four wins from their last six in all competitions but they are yet to keep a clean sheet in this season’s Premier League, so back a home win and both teams to score when they play host to Burnley.
Promotion-chasing Stevenage have racked up six wins on their League One travels and they should have too much quality for Burton at the Pirelli Stadium. Steve Evans’s side are unbeaten in ten and are in far better touch than the Brewers, who have lost their last three league fixtures.
David Artell looks a smart choice as Grimsby’s new manager and he can lead his charges to victory over Crewe at Blundell Park. The Mariners performed well in the recent 1-1 draw at MK Dons and should get the better of injury-hit Crewe, who have not played since a 1-1 draw at rock-bottom Sutton.
Bristol City have had a mixed start to life under Liam Manning but they can draw a line under back-to-back losses by defeating Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium. The Robins have registered three away wins this season and they can claim another at the expense of the fourth-bottom Terriers.
Swansea have gone five games without a win but they dominated last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Huddersfield – winning the shot count 22 to five – and may be too strong for Rotherham at the New York Stadium. The Swans felt hard done by last weekend and they can see off the second-bottom Millers. Rotherham are yet to draw a blank at home in any competition, however, so take the visitors to win and concede.
Real Sociedad have found only the big boys too much to handle in La Liga this season and there looks a decent chance they can emerge from Villarreal with a win, although both teams could score, which has happened in the Yellow Submarine’s last seven games.
Milan have scored in all their away domestic fixtures and Atalanta have only failed to score at home against Juventus, who have the second best defensive record in Serie A.
Borussia Dortmund have only lost one of their ten competitive home games this season and have won four of their last five. RB Leipzig have lost four of their last five competitive away games.
Ajax have rediscovered their collective shooting boots recently and have hit 15 goals across their last five games, with over 3.5 goals landing in four of those fixtures. Sparta have scored in each of their last six, so we’re expecting a high-scoring affair in Amsterdam.
Experts’ Accumulator Tip
Gladbach are steadily climbing the ranks in the Bundesliga and are in the mid-table positions with three of their four league wins having come since 28 October. They won at home to Hoffenheim last time out in the Bundesliga and can pick up a key away win on Saturday.
Tom: Augsburg will look to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches in the Bundesliga when they travel to the Weser Stadium to take on Werder Bremen.
Dan: Improving Bradford have won their last four matches and their revival under Graham Alexander can continue with a League Two home victory over struggling Salford.
Aidan: Wolves have been very hard to beat at home this season with only Brighton and Liverpool winning at Molineux in the league so far. Forest have failed to score in four of their last five games – all of which points to a comfortable home victory.
Alex: Dortmund have lost just one of their ten competitive home games this season and have won four of their last five. They face a visiting side that have struggled on the road of late.
The Perfect 10 Accumulator Tip
Dundee United are unbeaten in eight at home and have four wins in their last six. They can see off an Ayr side who needed extra time to overcome League Two Peterhead in the cup last time out and are on a five-game winless run.
Free-scoring Wrexham are averaging more than two goals per league game and their offensive prowess should set them apart from struggling Forest Green at the Bolt New Lawn. The Red Dragons can rack up an 11th league win of the season against ailing Rovers, who have gone four games without success.
Leicester have won five of their last six home games and the league leaders should be able to see off a Plymouth side who are winless on the road with relative ease.
Hibs had won three in a row prior to defeat at Celtic last time out. The Edinburgh outfit can get back to winning ways against struggling Livi, who have lost their last six.
The media narrative may suggest Manchester United are in disarray but six wins in their last eight league games suggests otherwise and the Red Devils can run out winners against Bournemouth.
Northampton have won three of their last four League One games, while Fleetwood have lost each of their last four across all comps without scoring. The Cobblers should be able to claim maximum points here.
Madrid have won six of their last eight league away matches and kept a clean sheet in four of them so bank on them keeping Betis at bay and two goals being enough to bring them three points.
Sporting have won 10 of their 12 league games, losing just once. Guimaraes are enjoying a good season themselves but they have fallen short against Portugal’s big guns – losing to Benfica and Porto – so expect the visitors to leave with the points.
Inter have won four of the last five meetings between these sides and they should have no issues against Serie A’s 16th-placed team. They have lost just once this season while their Udinese have managed only one victory in 18 league games, suggesting the points will be staying in Milan.
Burgos boast the best home record in La Liga 2 with 21 points from nine games (W6, D3). Mirandes have managed just one win in their last seven games across all comps and will struggle to get anything at the Estadio El Plantío.
3pm Accumulator Tip
Derby took a while to get going this season but they have racked up four successive league wins and can collect another maximum against Leyton Orient in the capital. The Rams have the top two in their sights and they should edge aside Richie Wellens’s Orient, who are winless in seven league games.
Mansfield’s League Two unbeaten status disappeared last month but the Stags are firmly in the promotion race and can add another three points by defeating MK Dons at the One Call Stadium. Nigel Clough’s side should have too much nous for the inconsistent Dons, who are nine points worse off.
Notts County have won three of their last four home games across all comps and should have too much for Walsall, who are winless in their last six in League Two.
Wolves have had some excellent results at home against some of the leading clubs in the Premier League and they should be able to come out on top against Forest, who have been struggling on the road.
Shrewsbury are among the worst travellers in League One with just one win in 10 attempts, losing seven of those games and scoring just two goals. Wycombe are in poor form but put in a decent display in a 1-0 loss at Barnsley last time out and a similar performance may be enough for three points here.
Sky Super 6 Match Result Accumulator Tip
Manchester City have hit a bit of a rough patch lately but should be able to come through against Luton.
However, the visitors have only kept one clean sheet in their last nine Premier League games and both teams have scored in six of the seven league matches at Kenilworth Road this term, so the Hatters could find the net.
Manchester United have won six of their last eight games in the Premier League but are unlikely to get a clean sheet against a Bournemouth side that have scored in each of their last eight.
Eight of the Red Devils’ nine top-flight wins this season have been by a single goal so they should scrape the three points again at Old Trafford.
Brighton have won four of their last six in all competitions and should have the beating of the struggling Burnley, although a clean sheet could be beyond them.
Both teams have scored in all 15 of the Seagulls’ top-flight affairs this term so, with Burnley conceding at least three goals on six occasions this term, a high-scoring home win is on the cards.
Both of these sides are struggling for wins right now, with the Blades winless in four matches and Brentford failing to win five of their seven away games this term.
The Bees have drawn four times in the league this season so, with the hosts scoring just 11 times this season, a low-scoring draw is the pick.
Tottenham have fallen by the wayside over the last month or so and a 2-1 loss to West Ham in midweek left them with just one point from the last 15 available.
They have lost three of their last four games by a 2-1 scoreline and Newcastle, who have only kept one clean sheet away from home in the league this season, have scored exactly twice in two of their last four league trips.
Aston Villa have won 11 of their 12 competitive home games this season and claimed a huge scalp as they beat Manchester City at Villa Park in midweek.
Arsenal have lost three of their last seven on the road but, with Villa conceding in eight of their last ten at home, they should at least get on the scoresheet.
Score Draw Four Mega Accumulator Tip
Middlesbrough played well in last Saturday’s 3-2 loss at Leeds and they can respond by sharing the spoils with Ipswich at the Riverside. Ipswich have lost just twice in the Championship this season but they are up against an improving Boro side who have won five of their last six home matches and as both teams are in good scoring form goals at both ends looks likely.
Peterborough have been playing some fluid football but they might have to accept a share of the points against promotion rivals Oxford at London Road. The Posh are unbeaten in 12 home matches but face a stiff test against third-placed Oxford, who are a point above them. With both attacks in form as well we should see goals in this stalemate.
QPR have lost just one of five matches under Marti Cifuentes and they can hold promotion-chasing Hull to a draw at Loftus Road. The Hoops have won back-to-back games but might have to settle for a point against the Tigers, who have collected 14 points on their Championship travels. QPR have hit six goals across their last two games and Hull have scored five, so expect goals at both ends.
Brentford have won only two of their away games in the Premier League this season and could be held to a draw by Sheffield United, who will be hoping for improvement following the return of Chris Wilder. The Blades are leaking goals and Brentford have gone five games without a clean sheet, so a score draw appeals.
Evening Accumulator Tip
Inter have won five of their last nine games to nil, including their last two fixtures at San Siro, and Simone Inzaghi’s side should be too strong at the back for Udinese’s toothless attack.
Burgos boast the best home record in La Liga 2 with 21 points from nine games (W6, D3). Mirandes have managed just one win in their last seven games across all comps and will struggle to get anything at the Estadio El Plantío.
Five of the last seven meetings between these two teams have seen both teams score and a repeat of that looks likely, although PSG should be able to make it eight league wins in a row.
Casa Pia are the lowest scorers in the Portuguese top flight and may not trouble Porto, but they are quite tight at the back too, so there may not be many goals in this one.
Overnight Treble Tip
River Plate may have finished two positions above Rosario Central in the regular season but the visitors ended the campaign well. They are unbeaten in nine Argentina Liga Profesional games and River Plate have only won one of their last four, while they are also winless in their last four meetings with Rosario Central.
Club America are almost certain to progress to the Mexico Liga MX Apertura Final after winning the first leg of this tie 5-0 on Wednesday night. The regular season table toppers have won each of their last six home games and scored 18 goals in the process, winning four of these by at least two goals. Atletico San Luis have lost four and drawn two of their last six away games, conceding 14 goals in this period.
Deportivo Saprissa are 2-0 up from the first leg of this tie and can finish the job with relative ease here. They have won their last nine league matches and have been far and away the most dominant side in the Costa Rica Primera Division this term, while Cartagines are winless in five games and have lost five of their last eight.
Australia A-League Double Tip
Adelaide United have seen 25 goals scored across their last five A-League matches, with over 2.5 goals landing four times and both teams to score landing four times. Brisbane Roar’s last five games have featured at least three goals and five of their six league assignments this season have seen goals at both ends.
Both of these sides are unbeaten in the A-League this season so this could be a hard-fought contest. Both teams have scored in each of Melbourne Victory’s last five league assignments and their last four have been draws, including a 2-2 scoreline last time out. Western Sydney Wanderers have seen goals at both ends in two of their last four, both of which were 2-2 draws.
Premier League Mega Accumulator Tip
Liverpool are unbeaten in five across all competitions and have won their last three. The goals have not been flying in for Crystal Palace recently and Liverpool have conceded only 14 times in 15 league games, so should keep things tight.
Brighton have posted four wins from their last six in all competitions but they are yet to keep a clean sheet in this season’s Premier League, so back a home win and both teams to score when they play host to Burnley.
The media narrative may suggest Manchester United are in disarray but six wins in their last eight league games suggests otherwise and the Red Devils can run out winners in a potentially high-scoring clash with Bournemouth on Saturday.
Aston Villa have won 11 of their 12 competitive home games this season and were phenomenal in their victory over Manchester City in midweek. Arsenal have required late winners in their last two away games and have lost three of their last seven competitive trips.
